OpSec introduces a novel concept of Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) that are connected to the OpSec platform and provide various services, such as secured internet access, data storage, and computation. DePIN is composed of decentralized cloud servers, private networks/IP addresses, and RDPs that are owned and operated by the OpSec community members, who can contribute their idle or excess resources to the platform and earn rewards in return. DePIN creates a distributed and resilient cloud computing system that can enhance the security, privacy, and performance of the platform and the blockchain applications hosted on it. DePIN also enables the OpSec community members to participate in the governance and decision-making of the platform, ensuring its transparency and accountability.
